PHOTO & VIDEO

I caught the shutterbug in college, and have tried to capture the world through still photography and video ever since. Though both are hobbies these days, I'll always know my way around a camera. Here's a selection of past photo and video work.

SAVED BY A BELL

These photos are a small sample from the photo story "Saved By A Bell," a multimedia story chronicling a homeless man's work as a Salvation Army bellringer, and his overnight survival in winter conditions in northern Colorado.

The photo story won first place in the Photographer-Writer Category, 2012 National Federation of Press Women National Communications Contest. Published on College Avenue magazine website. To view original photo story and captions, click here.

VIDEO FILMING & EDITING

PSA created with V3 Media Marketing for the Fort Collins, Colo., SAVA (Sexual Assault Victim Advocate) Center's It's On Us campaign.  The campaign's goal is to remind people that everyone has a role to play in preventing sexual assault. Aired on Hulu and Comcast Fall 2016.

Experience a day in the life of Ryan Haynes, a freshman at Colorado State University and a double amputee. Listen to Ryan's story and learn how he navigates the complexities of campus life as a student with a disability. This is the first in a series of three videos filmed and edited for a journalism class final project, Fall 2016. To view entire project, click here.

 VIDEO EDITING

This is a 30-second TV ad promoting Football Sunday, a film featuring interviews with 2018 Super Bowl players (both the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots) from a Christian perspective. Aired the week before and day of the 2018 Super Bowl, on the Hillsong TV channel.
